The Escalier Coffee Table is a continuation of the Escalier Series, inspired by the step-motif seen in Art Deco and Postmodern Design. The table aims to explore proportions and the center of gravity of a coffee table and features striped banding of natural dye. The piece is 4 feet by 2 feet by 17.5 inches, composed of poplar (base) and ash (top) and finished with a clear polycrylic.
